This cocktail-inspired Blueberry Mojito Sugar Scrub with fresh blueberries and mint will have you skipping happy hour for a luxurious night of pampering at home!
Blueberry Mojito Sugar Scrub
This invigorating sugar scrub was inspired by a cocktail I made for friends recently. Blueberries have been on sale all week and we love the little blue dynamos so naturally I picked up several pints. You should check out the Lemon Blueberry Muffins that have been blowing up the site.
This weekend I am making blueberry waffles for insanely good blueberry waffle breakfast sandwiches the guys love. That recipe will be coming to the blog soon too!
Anyway, back to this Blueberry Mojito Sugar Scrub! Paul’s oldest friends stopped over last weekend to see the new casa and catch up. Since things have settled we are entertaining more and I really wanted to make something special. And they were amazing!
Blueberry and mint is my new fave combo… well, it’s right up there next to blueberry and lemons. In fact I just got any idea for a minty, blueberry lemonade sweet tea cocktail!
And that is pretty much how this Blueberry Mojito Sugar Scrub came to be. I have been making more DIY home and bath products. Think natural weed killer, gel air fresheners and bath products. It must be the new casa making me want to nest.
This luscious sugar scrub has all the health benefits of coconut oil, antioxidants from the berries and a mild astringent from lime juice. Let me know in the comments if you want the mojito recipe too!
