Am I the only one that has random mini bottles of liqueur laying around? One of our higher end grocery stores keeps baskets of the little suckers at the checkout and I typically find myself grabbing tiny bottles of bourbon, whiskeys and flavored liquors while I wait in line. They are perfect to cook with, just enough and not too expensive.
We have been having breakfast for dinner all week and I made the best waffles. I wanted to fancy up the syrup and the bottle of Disaronno I have been hoarding seemed perfect. The results are to-die-for… It tastes like liquid butterscotch!
