Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, cabbage, green onions, carrots, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center.

  3. Wet the edges of the wonton wrapper with water, then fold it over to create a triangle. Press the edges to seal.

  4. Heat oil in a deep pot or skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Carefully place the wontons in the hot oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Remove the wontons from the oil and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate.

  7. Serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
