How To Make Butternut Squash Hash Recipe
A savory and satisfying breakfast or brunch dish made with hearty butternut squash, caramelized onions, and crispy bacon.

- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and diced into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1/2 large onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

Add the butternut squash to the skillet and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, until the onion is caramelized and the butternut squash is tender.

Stir in the cooked bacon and dried thyme. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
