Ham Havarti Pretzel Stacks are the perfect #wineWednesday appetizer. Garlic parmesan pretzel crisps layered with smoky Black Forest ham, buttery Havarti cheese, spicy stone grain mustard and fresh veggies.
Ham Havarti Pretzel Stacks
I don’t know about you but I am ready for a little relaxation this week. We have been on an emotional roller coasted the last few months and it feels good to be somewhat settled. The future is still uncertain but it feels like we are finally making head way.
I don’t usually disclose overly personal details on the blog but one of my 2016 goals is to be more transparent about our situation. Ever since Paul lost his job in September we have been financially strapped. He has been searching for work the last few months and I have been struggling to make this blog profitable.
Yes, I make money from freelance work but it is sporadic, changing from month to month. Most of our bills are behind and we have been discussing bankruptcy for months. Even our move was to save money; leaving our overpriced neighborhood for an area more reasonably priced.
Through the support of friends and family though we are hanging in there.
It feels good to know that while there are forces outside of our control pushing for our failure, it is small in comparison to the positive vibes coming our way. Fingers crossed Paul will be back to work soon in a position that meets our needs and keeps the wolves at bay. And that thymeforcocktails.com continues to grow!
