  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and sliced into 1/4 inch thick rounds
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the carrots, maple syrup, water, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.

  3. Cover the skillet and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the carrots are tender.

  4. Remove the lid and cook for an additional 5 minutes to thicken the glaze.

  5. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
