10-Ingredient Hash Brown Taco Skillet
Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns
grated cheddar cheese
lean ground beef
diced roasted red peppers
taco seasoning mix
substitute chopped fresh cilantro
tomatoes with green chiles
drained and rinsed
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a large bowl mix together hash browns, sour cream, and cheese. Set aside.
Heal a large cast iron or oven safe skillet over medium high heat. Add ground beef, cook until just browned. Drain any excess fat.
Mix in garlic and red peppers, cook 2-3 minutes. Stir in taco seasoning and cilantro paste, cook 1-2 minutes.
Add tomatoes and beans, stir to combine.
Spoon hash brown mixture evenly over taco meat. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
Left rest 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with desired taco toppings.
