Spiced Chocolate Panna Cotta
A slightly spicy version of this classic Italian dessert with hints of rich cocoa and nutmeg.

  1. In a small bowl mix together gelatin and 2 tablespoons cold water. Set aside.
  2. Mix together 3/4 cup heavy cream, yogurt, cocoa powder, and spices in a large bowl.
  3. Add remaining heavy cream and sugar to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin until dissolved.
  4. Stir warm cream into yogurt mixture.
  5. Pour into individual serving glasses, refrigerate until cold. Cover with plastic wrap, chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
Recipe Notes

Tip – When refrigerating custard or pudding be sure to cover the direct surface with plastic wrap to keep a skin from forming.
