Combine 2 classic recipes when you learn how to make Supreme Pizza Sliders. Toasted slider buns topped with pepperoni, a chunky supreme pizza inspired marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese.
Our small kitchenette has challenged my culinary creativity since moving into our hotel room. At first I thought not having an oven was a liability, but now I realize it is just the push I need to hit my foodie refresh button. Necessity is the mother of all invention, right?
Supreme Pizza Sliders
I recently published a post for Supreme Pizza Waffle Nachos, which you folks seem to love. So I told Paul, ‘why not maximize that adoration into a round-2 recipe with our leftover nacho toppings?!’ Ok, I didn’t really say that, it was more like, ‘we are out of pizza dough, so unless you want to go to the store, we are having sliders for dinner instead of nachos.’
The bonus was we added pepperoni, which was not a part of the nacho recipe. Because I forgot to buy it the first time we shopped for these recipes! lol So these wonderful Supreme Pizza Sliders have plenty of spicy pepperoni to compensate.
You know it is a good recipe of it gets Paul into the kitchen. Cooking isn’t at the top of his to-do list most days! This recipe is manly enough he could barely keep his hands off these great little sliders.
Can you imagine your favorite pizza toppings made into sliders? Or how about on pizza nachos? The ingredient combinations are essentially endless. You could mix chicken, bacon, and maybe a little ranch or buffalo sauce. Or how about ham and pineapple?!
