A few weeks ago I made a batch of Triple Berry Infused Rum on a whim and we made the best cocktails with it. After infusing for a week or so I strained the rum and was left with all the berries. There was no way I was tossing out all that boozy, berry goodness so I made this Triple Berry Boozy Smoothie for an smooth, creamy adults-only afternoon treat. It’s a great way to relax with a little less guilt!
Triple Berry Boozy Smoothie
I wanted it to have a little creaminess but without the dairy so I grabbed the almond milk instead. Honey is such a great natural sweetener but you could easily substitute agave nectar. The fruit has plenty of natural sugar so you might want to keep the sweeteners to a minimum. Let’s talk about seeds, because this Triple Berry Boozy Smoothie has a bunch of them. You could take the time to strain them out but they won’t all go away. I tried since Paul is not a big fan of them. Personally I just went with it, seeds need love too! lol
