How To Make Steak Fajita Salad
A delicious and healthy salad with tender steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and a zesty lime dressing.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb of sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tsp of chili powder
- 1 tsp of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sauté for 5 minutes or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro. Add the steak and vegetables on top.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice and a drizzle of olive oil. Pour over the salad and toss to coat.
