How To Make Steak Fajita Salad

A delicious and healthy salad with tender steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and a zesty lime dressing.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tsp of chili powder
  • 1 tsp of cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sauté for 5 minutes or until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, add the bell peppers, onion, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and slightly charred.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, avocado, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro. Add the steak and vegetables on top.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice and a drizzle of olive oil. Pour over the salad and toss to coat.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
