Enjoy a refreshing Strawberry Lemonade Sangria, perfect for a sunny summer afternoon. Happy #wineWednesday!
Strawberry Lemonade Sangria
This last week has been absolutely nuts. Summer vacay is over and I am back to what I like to call the Mom shuffle. We are already juggling early classes, after school activities and the pressures that come with senior year.
All of it makes me want to relax on our (soon to be newly renovated) patio with a cocktail. Stay tuned for that project!
I decided to mix up batch of Strawberry Lemonade Sangria earlier in the week and I am so glad I did. The fruit steeped longer than anticipated, 2+ days but it resulted in the beautiful pinkish concoction you see here.
Add a healthy dose of strawberry lemonade vodka for a real kick. Naturally sweet lemonade balances out the tartness. I used high quality store bought, not the stuff from concentrate!
What is your favorite kind of sangria?
- 1 bottle Pinto Grigio
- 1 cup strawberry lemonade vodka
- 1 pint strawberries, sliced
- 2 lemons, sliced
- 1-2 cups fresh lemonade
- Add wine, vodka and fruit to a pitcher. Chill several hours or overnight.
- Add desired amount of lemonade. Serve chilled and garnish with strawberry & lemon slices.
