After neglecting those pesky snack habits, it’s time to give your sweet tooth a veggie makeover. Garden Lites helps you sneak vegetables into your diet disguised as delicious baked goods. Perfect for those busy days when you need a special treat!
Snacks have been a real problem for me lately. I am spending more time in front of the laptop, and less time making better-for-me food choices. The end result is me feeling sluggish by the end of the day, which is not good when you are super busy.
Give Your Sweet Tooth a Veggie Makeover
I was recently grocery shopping with a new friend, and she pointed out Garden Lites Chocolate muffins. She is a new mom, and really watching her diet while nursing.
After a little prodding, and much discussion about getting more veggies into our day, I grabbed them along with the Garden Lites Blueberry muffins.
I found my Garden Lites muffins at Kroger. You can find yours in the freezer section of your nearest Stop & Shop, Giant, Shop-Rite, HEB, Publix, or Costco.
Between my PT editor gig, and learning the blogger scene in Columbus, I feel like I am constantly on the go. That is when I start to reach for sweet snacks that leave me feeling unsatisfied, and frankly a little guilty. These Garden Lites Chocolate muffins are completely different though.
I love that they are packed with good stuff, containing 1/3 non GMO vegetables. The fiber definitely helps fill me up, especially when I am grabbing a quick breakfast or an afternoon snack, and helps put a little pep in my step. Folks, you seriously can not tell that these little buggers are full of vegetables!
I even gave Paul one for a late-night snack, and he had no idea they were anything but a delicious chocolatey treat. And you know veggies are not at the top of my husband’s snack list!
