I received compensation from Bayer Consumer Health, makers of MiraLAX® to write this post. MiraLAX® is a laxative used to treat occasional constipation. All opinions are entirely my own. #ReliefMadeEasy #CollectiveBias
Have you been feeling sluggish and needing a little pick me up? Start your day by sipping on this non-dairy Green Smoothie full of healthy fruits, greens, and plenty of vitamin C. -[ultimate-recipe-jump]
If you are like me then you try to eat right, get plenty of rest each day, and squeeze in a little physical activity when you have the time! It can be tough to find the perfect better-for-you balance though. When that balance gets out of whack my body is quick to let me know.
The combination of ingredients in this Green Smoothie recipe not only taste delicious, but they can help give your body a healthy dose of iron and vitamins. Since iron is best absorbed with vitamin C this smoothie recipe uses fresh orange juice as the base. Strawberries, spinach, and kale add fiber too. Crushed pineapple in it’s own juice and bananas give the smoothie just the right amount of sweetness.
Tip: I add MiraLAX® when I need relief from occasional constipation, which I found at my local Kroger. Please note that in no way am I claiming that MiraLAX® boosts your Iron I just add it into this smoothie when I need relief from occasional constipation. MiraLAX® works with my body’s natural process to provide effective relief from occasional constipation. Because it works with the body, MiraLAX® provides a gentle experience, and doesn’t cause harsh side effects. It works with the water in your body to hydrate and unblock your system naturally.
I love how convenient the MiraLAX® Mix-In Pax® are too. I keep one stashed in my bag just in case. You can mix the non-gritty powder into just about any drink like water, tea, coffee, or juice!
This Green Smoothie is full of fresh ingredients for an extra boost when I feel sluggish. It is also great for meal-prep too. You can portion out the ingredients, place them in a freezer-safe resealable plastic bag, and store in the freezer. Freezing your produce eliminates the need for ice when you blend your smoothie too. Which can water it down!
